Controls-Engineer in Guadalajara / Mexico

Objective
Controls Engineer has the ability to lead both the design and electrical and/or controls programming of an extensive custom automated assembly machine project, from conceptual stage to customer approval. Your responsibility includes understanding the concept, managing the budget and schedule, ensuring that the deadlines and financial requirements established for the project are met.

Responsibilities

  • Program and handle vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs, with expertise in at least one and a strong preference for both.
  • Exhibit expertise in commissioning intelligent devices on fieldbus networks (Ethernet I/P, ProfiNet, etc.) with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
  • Develop PLC to device software interfaces, including comprehensive implementation documentation and validation plans.
  • Effectively communicate engineering concepts and ideas to various stakeholders, including builders, customers, and other team members.
  • Actively participate in internal and customer design reviews, installations, and service calls as required.

Requirements

Possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering within the custom automation domain.
